We LOVE the concept!  We have used True Colors for years for training with our veterinary healthcare team.  It never occurred to us to think about applying it to dogs...

At first blush, the arrangement of breeds into the various categories/colors seems quite accurate/appropriate.  Our 24 years of clinical experience provides perspective on many breeds, and we are here to say you've done a "bang-up" job!

Understanding the True Colors concepts as applied to dogs could be very useful for any veterinary healthcare team member to take an active role in assisting people who are considering adding a dog to the family.  We certainly understand and appreciate the importance of matching the pet to the family dynamic and lifestyle.

My husband and I read Canine Colors, and could see how Murphy (our Golden Retriever) was an orange as a pup (which lasts 3 years or so with that breed!), but is getting bluer with age. He is ten now.  We really liked the list of breeds and their colors.  It started a conversation about our children and their dogs, and helped make sense out of their choices.  I love that the color descriptions are written from the dog’s perspective.  Congratulations on a delightful, informative user-friendly book!
